The 32-Bit Difference is an informational video that was produced by JimboVideo in 1995 to explain the terms "32-bit" and "multitasking", which were a big deal around the time of Windows 95's release.

JimboVideo attempts to explain the meaning of 32-bit in depth, as well as demonstrate the multitasking capabilities of three versions of Windows: Windows for Workgroups 3.11, Windows NT Workstation 3.51, and Windows 95. This video was reissued in 1998 with minor changes.

JimboVideo was a video production company that started in 1992 by three people, two of which had little to no experience in the industry. JimboVideo originally planned to specialize in offering movie production services to low-budget amateurs, but they had no credibility at that time.

One of the founders proposed the idea of sharing his technical expertise to create an instructional video about optimizing IBM compatible PCs. This video made use of 2D computer graphics to visualize objects in an abstract manner. This, along with concise instructions and a subtle cetacean personality made by "Optimizing Your IBM Compatible" very successful.

Despite this, JimboVideo was unable to garner sufficient clients to do business with them. By January 1995, Optimizing Your IBM Compatible sold 1 million copies, and JimboVideo decided to focus its efforts on creating new computer instructional videos.

This video is pretty old, and as something I worked on largely by myself, it may have some inaccuracies. Since then, I've learned a lot more, including 8086 assembly programming to a decent extent.

Blue Horizon: "No copyright is not copyright free" is true since all contents made after HE 11887 implicitly have copyright by default at the time they were made and when there are no declarations that they are copyright free or public domain otherwise...stupid Berne Convention...

flatrute: It was originally claimed back in 2019 by a group known as Kwangsoo Media, and they claimed part of the video that didn't have any music playing. Here is Kugee's original response to it when that initially happened:

"One of my videos got claimed for using a background that's supposedly "no copyright". I'm guessing the claimant used this same stock background, but I only found out just now that you're supposed to pay $100 to be able to download a whole bunch of them. I downloaded one background from a YouTube channel that says they have a license to redistribute it for everyone on their channel, but does it really work that way?

Let's face it, "no copyright" material is absolutely not "copyright-free" if you can still get punished for using it without paying money. I'm not sure what I'm going to end up doing with this video, given how much time I spent on it and the fact that it's been up for two years."

That's also the reason the 1998 version came into being.

Blue Horizon: Is it possible to have that taken down version here? What is the name of that so called "free" music anyway?

I still have the original 1995 version before it got taken down in 2019 due to a notice on using "free" music.

One of my Favorite Videos made by the Maroon Whale himself. I even have it recorded to an actual VHS tape!
