Windows 98 Dream Edition is a community modification/remaster of an OS (Operating System) that is hard-coded by Microsoft. But we are looking forward for the community to modify our project (by adding custom components, wallpapers, themes, programs, games)

Q: Andriey, is this legal?
A: Even if Windows 98 isn't sold anymore, it's still kinda illegal to do so. Although, Microsoft doesn't give a fuck about their older software nowadays, you are still using this software at your own risk (especially at a commercial environment, I recommend not using it there). You can distribute it non-commercially, but at your own risk. We, as DreamProject Team, take responsibility from copyright and if needed, we will take this project down as soon as possible
