Alejandro: You know, I do not care about the whole Twitter "dying" or whatever. As one Vietnamese person I already live a digital life equivalent of being in a remote jungle far away from the big city that is Facebook.
In just two months the Twitter psuedo "exodus" will be completely forgotten about in two months, some people have said they would move to something called Mastodon, some others said they would move to Tumblr, none of that ever happened, just two weeks later all of these people were back using Twitter. They were behaving like it was their last day on earth and i was happy because i thought Twitter would shut down for a few hours or for a few days sadly it didn't.
RayZen: You are in no position to be lecturing others about egoism when you can't even take a bit of criticism on Windows 8 without going into a complex defensive overdrive. Maybe now's a good time to reconsider what you've been regurgitating.
I like your art. However I think there's visible egoism with your art. The problem's that you're trying to pretend to be a savior of the world, who you're unfortunately, aren't
There's a concern that Twitter alternatives will fall like Twitter. I regret using Twitter, I used to experience it for a couple years in the mid-2010s, then quit it because it got to the point where it was so inconvenient for me. If alternatives like Mastodon don't give me the same goosebumps that made me quit Twitter, than I would've stuck with them... and yet the problem is still likely to happen anyway.
The last comment was supposed to be a reply to Xnmcv but seems like I forgot
I hardly even touched Twitter when I had it. I had a Mastodon for a while, but ended up shying away from it as I didn't feel like what I wanted to say fit in with what the other users talked about on the instance I was on.
Even so, for me I would not touch them in any capacity.
Twitter alternatives are a real thing, looks like they're better than Twitter.
