BASIFUK INSTALLS Microsoft Windows 95D OSR2.6Created on December 18, 2019 Conserve bandwidth! Change quality: 240 Maximum with the help of HIERMA (abandoned project), the smrt way to install Windows. Special thanks to Blue Horizon, LoneCrusader, and the late Rudolph Loew for making Windows 95D possible. Comments
Rest in peace to Mr. Rudolph Loew.
Blue Horizon: My condolences to his family.
flatrute: R. Loew made a forum post on my thread which was discussing about my discovery of title bar gradients in an early Memphis build on BetaArchive, mentioning about how he had found a way to get USB 2 working under Windows 95, which was back in August 2019. Well, just one month afterwards, we heard the news that he died of cancer and that his site was pulled offline as a result. R. Loew's son had control of his father's MSFN account to inform people of his passing and that he would go through his stuff to eventually share his work for free, including source code - of which was eventually all shared by January 2020 on a new domain run by his family.
Jimbo then could be seen as a kind of entity having some interests to the Outside World's other technologies. They tinkered with a copy of Linux distro to create HIERMA. This is like Kawashiro Nitori who is a kappa and likes to tinker with products from the Outside World and make inventions with them.
Just notice an anachronism.
Blue Horizon: I am sorry but what happened to him?
It was surprising and shocking that an experienced individual like Rudolph Loew would chime in on an accidental yet influential discovery I made about title bar gradients, and at which point later turned out to be one of the last activities he would do. The state of Windows 9x wouldn't be where it is now without the patches he and his son provided - and while me and Kugee might've not agreed with some of his actions that he's taken towards others doing similar patches as his, I can only hope he's resting peacefully knowing what contributions he made. 7 comments on this page Sort: Ascending | Descending Leave a Comment |
