Dual Pentium II Xeon Windows NT Workstation 4.0Created on March 26, 2021 Conserve bandwidth! Change quality: 240 480 720 Maximum Two 2MB Pentium II Xeon CPUs operating in a computer, at the heart of perhaps the most powerful system 1998 would've had to offer - or more technically early 1999. Thanks to the 440GX chipset at play here, this system is capable of addressing up to 2GB of registered ECC SDRAM. You do have to be mindful that the DIMMs you get will fit the slots on your computer, as some are manufactured to plug into much longer ones. A 550MHz Pentium III Xeon is about as fast of a CPU as this early revision of the MS-6135 will take, by the looks of it. It'll be ages before I find another motherboard like this that's capable of taking much faster Slot 2 CPUs. Regardless, I need to get a power supply with a stronger 5V rail before I start talking about this again... CommentsNo comments for this page. Leave a Comment |
